YMF Green Number Plates

We can only supply number plates where we have seen the relevant documentation so number plates are for branch collection only.

The British Standard sets out the characteristics of the number plate. This includes visibility, strength and reflectivity. To meet the British Standard, each number
plate must be permanently and legibly marked with the following:

• British Standard number BS AU 145e

• Name, trademark or other way of identifying the manufacturer or supplier

• Name and postcode of the supplying outlet

From 8 December 2020 eligible zero emission vehicles (ZEVs) are permitted to display a green flash on the left hand side of the number plate.
